Privacy Policy

TL;DR
1. You sign in with Apple or Google so everyone who cares for your baby can share one log. 2. Your baby's details and logs are stored on our servers and shared only with the people you invite to your family. 3. We never sell your data. We use Meta only to measure our ads, and we don't collect your advertising ID. 4. You can delete your account and data at any time in the app.
Information We Collect
When you use Baby Tracker: Swaddle ("the App"), we collect and process the following information:
- Account information: when you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive an account identifier from that provider and your name if you choose to share it. We never receive your password.
- Family and baby details: the name of your family, and each baby's name, birthdate and, if you add it, sex.
- Logs: the entries you and your family add, such as feeds, sleep, diapers, baths, growth measurements, temperature, medication, notes, and the times they happened.
- Baby photos: photos you add for widgets and the baby profile are stored on your device and, where available, in your own iCloud account. They are not uploaded to our servers.
- Device tokens: if you allow notifications, we store your device's push token so we can tell you when someone in your family adds a log.
- Usage data: we record how people move through setup and use the App, such as which screens they complete, linked to an app user ID. We use it to improve the App.
- Support messages: if you send feedback, we receive your message, the email address you choose to give, your platform, your country, and your app user ID.
How We Use Information
We use this information to:
- Provide the App, including your timeline, summaries, charts and widgets.
- Keep your logs in sync across the devices of everyone in your family.
- Send the notifications you turn on, such as new logs from your family and your free trial reminder.
- Manage your subscription and free trial.
- Understand how the App is used, fix problems and improve it.
- Measure how well our ads work, for example whether an ad led to an install or a subscription.
Sharing Within Your Family
When you invite someone with an invite code, they join your family and can see and add logs for your babies. Anyone in the family can see the family's babies, logs and members' names. A family admin can remove members, and you can leave a family at any time.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to run the App:
- Apple and Google: to let you sign in. Their own privacy policies apply to your Apple or Google account.
- RevenueCat: to process and manage subscriptions and free trials. Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details.
- Meta: to measure our advertising. The App sends events such as installs, sign-ups, trial starts and subscriptions to Meta. We turned off collection of your device's advertising ID, and we don't use Meta to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- Supermatter: to record the usage data described above.
- Apple Push Notification service, Firebase Cloud Messaging and Expo: to deliver notifications to your device.
- Apple iCloud: to keep the baby photos you add, in your own iCloud account.
The App doesn't show ads, and we never sell your personal data.
Data Security
All data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and only signed-in members of a family can access that family's data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your information for as long as you have an account. You can delete your account in the App's settings or on our account deletion page. Deleting your account removes your account, and any family where you are the only member is deleted together with its babies and logs. In families shared with other people, the babies and logs stay available to the remaining members, but they are no longer linked to you.
Not Medical Advice
The App helps you record and review your baby's routine. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you have concerns about your baby's health, feeding, sleep or growth, contact a doctor or other qualified healthcare provider.
Children's Privacy
The App is meant for parents and caregivers and is not directed to children under 13. Information about a baby is entered by their parents or caregivers. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Rights
You can view and edit your family, babies and logs in the App at any time, and delete your account and data as described above. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights, such as asking for a copy of your data. To make a request, contact us at the address below.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
